These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website
detailmyride.ca (the “Site”) operated by Detail My Ride
(“we,” “us,” or “our”), including the campaign landing pages under
detailmyride.ca/lp/. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by
these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Services

Detail My Ride provides automotive detailing (interior and exterior), mobile
detailing, vehicle pick-up and drop-off, fleet detailing, and collision and auto
body repair, operating from 1999 Merivale Rd, Ottawa, ON K2G 1G1. The Site provides
information about our services and allows you to request quotes and book
appointments.

2. Booking and Appointments

• Appointments may be requested through our online booking page, through a quote form on our Site, by phone, or by text.
• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team. Submitting a form is a request, not a confirmed appointment.
• We ask that you provide reasonable advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
• Failure to show up for a confirmed appointment without notice may affect your ability to book future appointments.
• Service times quoted on the Site (for example, “about two hours for most vehicles”) are estimates. Actual time depends on the size and condition of the vehicle. We will tell you if yours needs longer.

3. Pricing and Payment

• Package prices published on the Site apply to the services listed in that package.
• Additional work or additional time identified once we see the vehicle — heavy soiling, pet hair, biohazard cleanup, unusually large or modified vehicles, or damage beyond what was described — may carry an additional charge. We will confirm any additional charge with you before doing the work.
• Collision repair pricing is quoted after inspection. Estimates provided from photographs are preliminary and subject to confirmation in person.
• Some services may require a deposit to secure your appointment. Where a deposit applies, we will tell you the amount, how it is applied, and whether it is refundable before we confirm your booking.
• We accept major credit cards, debit, and other payment methods as indicated at our shop.
• All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes, including HST.

4. Mobile Detailing

• Mobile detailing is available in Ottawa and the surrounding area. Please confirm availability for your location when you book.
• A mobile service fee applies as published on our Site. We waive it when three or more vehicles are booked at the same location.
• You are responsible for ensuring we have safe, legal, and reasonable access to the vehicle at the address provided, including parking. Please tell us in advance about anything at the location that could restrict the work, such as limited parking or restrictions on water or power use.
• Mobile appointments may be rescheduled due to weather or conditions that make safe work impossible. We will contact you as early as we can.

5. Vehicle Pick-Up and Drop-Off

• Our insured drivers may collect your vehicle and return it, for the fee published on our Site.
• By booking pick-up and drop-off, you confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to release it to us, and that the vehicle is roadworthy, insured, and legally registered.
• We will note the vehicle’s condition when we take custody. Please tell us in advance about any existing damage or mechanical issue.
• You are responsible for removing valuables and personal items before we collect the vehicle. See Section 6.

6. Personal Belongings and Vehicle Condition

• Please remove cash, electronics, documents, and other valuables from your vehicle before your appointment. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal items left in a vehicle.
• Items found during a detail will be bagged and returned to you where practical.
• Detailing improves the condition of a vehicle but cannot reverse all wear. Some stains, odours, burns, tears, fading, etching, and paint defects are permanent or require additional paid services to address. We will tell you when we expect a result to be limited, but we do not guarantee complete removal of every stain, odour, or blemish.
• Pre-existing damage, worn trim, aftermarket components, and previous repairs may react unpredictably to cleaning and polishing. We work carefully but cannot accept responsibility for failures caused by pre-existing condition.

7. Warranties

Warranty coverage depends on the product and service provided. Specific warranty
terms, including duration and coverage, will be communicated to you at the time of
service. Manufacturer warranties on paints, coatings, films, and materials are
subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Warranty claims must be submitted by contacting us directly. We reserve the right
to inspect the vehicle before processing any warranty claim.

8. Collision Repair and Insurance Claims

• Where you ask us to work with your insurer, you authorize us to share the information necessary to process your claim.
• Your insurer’s approval, deductible, and coverage decisions are between you and your insurer. We are not responsible for coverage denied or reduced by an insurer.
• Repair timelines on insurance work depend on parts availability and insurer approvals, and are estimates rather than commitments.

9. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable federal, provincial, or local law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Site without our written permission
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, videos, logos, and design
elements, is the property of Detail My Ride or its licensors and is protected by
Canadian copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create
derivative works from this content without our written permission.

By submitting photographs to us, you confirm you have the right to do so and grant
us permission to use them for the purpose of preparing your estimate and performing
your service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, Detail My Ride shall not be liable
for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising
from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim arising
from your use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid to us for the specific
service giving rise to the claim.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind,
express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Detail My Ride, its owners, employees, and
agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal
fees) arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the
Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes
arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of
Ontario.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on
this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after
changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
